This three year project consists of 15.6 miles of improvements to US Hwy 101 and East Beach Road along Lake Crescent.  Work includes 14,000 CY of subexcavation, geogrid reinforced fill sections, two mechanically stabilized earth walls, 24” to 36” pipe culverts, plate arch culvert, precast concrete box culvert, over 12,000 LF of underdrain pipe, curb and gutter, guardrail, over 3,000 CY of riprap bank protection, significant rock slope mitigation effort, streambed channel reconstruction, over 215,000 SY of asphalt milling, 100,000 tons of HMA paving, traffic control and other items of work.  All work was performed while keeping traffic moving though the National Park and abiding by environmental regulations.
