This project consisted of a variety of improvements and major expansion to an existing City of Bellingham park. The work scope included demolition of existing structures as well as earthwork and grading of approximately 20 acres prior to initiating construction of new park amenities and site improvements. Utility upgrades included an extension of the water main and sewer service, as well as improvements to storm sewer and underground electrical and telecommunication services. Specific site improvements included construction of a new baseball field, basketball court, two picnic shelters, playground, skate park, dog off-leash areas, and placement of over 6,700 SY of concrete flatwork for pedestrian trails.
