This fast track project had a two month window for completion, and Strider was able to reach completion in six weeks, even with a significant overexcavation and unexpected repairs to the Soil HandlingFacility.  Strider’s work included erosion control, maintaining a Soil Handling Facility, excavation and stockpiling of clean overburden, excavation of contaminated soil for railcar loadout, and backfill with clean import and overburden materials.  Site restoration included installing a new side sewer as well as an irrigation system, topsoil and sod.  Site was under constant noise, vibration, dust, surface settlement monitoring and structure settlement monitoring, with no trigger levels reached.
