Project Details:

The project consisted of relocating approximately 7000 LF of Cattle Point Road away from a steep bank in danger of being undercut by erosion. The road was relocated onto an adjacent hillside and tied into the existing road at both ends, requiring 50,000 CY of roadway excavation and embankment and placement of 12,000 tons of CSBC. Work also included the placement of approximately 7000 LF of conduit for dry utilities along the new roadway. Upon completion and opening of the new road to traffic, the old roadway was deactivated and graded to match the surrounding topography.
